Because of the increasingly complex systems in systems engineering and the ever shorter project times the themes simulation and virtual commissioning in machine and plant construction will become increasingly important.
For paint shops mistakes can be recognised just in the area of the conveyor technology by the preceding simulation of the expiries on time in the planning phase. Then the models provided in the simulation phase can be used, with the use of the right software, in the other project step for the virtual commissioning. On this occasion, the simulation of the models is coupled to a real PLC-control and the control programme can be checked already before the assembly of the arrangement. Possible mistakes can be thereby already recognised to begin and be removed. Through this the real commissioning time decrease and the danger of damages to person and machine also decreases.
Besides program modifications, program enlargements and program optimisation can be already tested before in the existing model. Through this conversions of the control programme can be carried out within the shortest time.
